Miramonti Park Hotel Sport & Wellness – Pentagono – San Gallo – Forni di Premadio – Planecc – Le Motte – Santa Lucia – Bormio
Cross the road and continue on cycle path N199 in the Crocetta area, which leads directly to the recently renovated Forni (ironworks) of Premadio.
Here you can take a break before returning to Bormio via the village of Premadio and Planecc, home to a children’s playground, football pitch and fitness trail.
Continue along path N282 through the Bosco di San Gallo to reach Le Motte.
The trail then follows path N280 to Osteglio and Santa Lucia before heading back to the Pentagono in Bormio. Curiosities / Points of interest: The Premadio Ironworks: active from 1852, they housed several furnaces, four hammers, a rolling mill and a workshop. Up to 15 tonnes of ore were processed daily by 400–500 workers engaged in logging, excavation, ironworking and transport.
The furnace was decommissioned in 1875.
Miramonti Park Hotel Sport & Wellness – Combo – Uzza – Teregua – Casina Bassa – Pramezzano – Santelon – Bormio
After crossing the Pont da Carosa, a steep climb brings you to the provincial road through Valfurva.
A few metres further on, turn left onto the paved road linking Teregua to the start of the military road of Ables.
From here, follow path S511 to Casina Bassa, where there is a small rural building.
Continue to Pramezzano and then to Santelon, where you can visit the ruins of Bormio Castle and the circular church, the “Gesa rota”.
Descend back to Bormio.
To return to the hotel, simply cross Bormio’s historic centre via Via Roma. Curiosities / Points of interest: In spring and summer it’s quite common to see dairy cattle grazing around Casina Bassa.
Miramonti Park Hotel Sport & Wellness – Combo – Santelon – Cà Bianca – Croce della Reit – Bormio
Although very steep in places, the hike follows a well-marked trail with many numbered switchbacks through a forest of fir, larch, Scots pine and mountain pine at higher elevations.
The view from the cross embraces the entire valley, stretching from Valfurva to Valdidentro via Valdisotto.
Just above, beyond the treeline, rises the majestic dolomitic wall of Mount Reit, where groups of ungulates are often seen.
You can descend by the same route or head towards Uzza and Pramezzano.
Curiosities / Points of interest: The panorama from the Croce della Reit will reward all your efforts!
Miramonti Park Hotel Sport & Wellness – Bormio 2000 Cable Car – La Rocca – Sobretta – Calvarana – Campolungo – Feleit – Bormio
Once there, follow path S543 and then S543.1, which cross the ski slopes to reach La Rocca.

From this point the trail becomes mostly level with a few gentle ups and downs.
You enter a dense spruce forest with captivating panoramic openings over Valfurva.
Pass the areas of Calvarana, Le Poce and Campolungo, then turn right onto a steep track, path S540, which leads first to Feleit and finally back to Bormio.
As always, to reward your efforts, our SPA “The Flower” awaits you for relaxation between pool, sauna and Turkish bath (and why not, a wonderful regenerating massage!).
